Blood Oxygen

This game was made in 48 hours for the GMTK GameJam 2021 with the theme "joined together". This was my first jam, and I learned a lot through it. Rather than update the project I've decided to leave it as a benchmark.

Stranded in space, an alien artifact has grafted a gun to your arm which drains your life force for ammunition. Fight back the alien invasion while managing your blood supply.

Instructions:

Your health bar drains over time and when you shoot, enemies drop energy which can be traded for your health at the pink heart.

Your goal is to destroy the enemy green heart at the other side of the map while defending your own from the bugs.

Controls:

Movement - wasd

Fire - click or click and hold

Recharge - hold r when standing near your artifact.
